Our name 'Cardea' comes from Greek and Roman mythology. Within mythology Cardea is known as the 'Goddess of the Hinge', who would protect families and children from evil spirits crossing the thresholds of a property. At Cardea Property Consultancy we see ourselves as having a similar role by helping protect your property assets from evil spirits/defects. 

At Cardea Property Consultancy our mission is to provide personal, professional and honest advice. Buying a home is said to be one of the most stressful life events you may experience, by appointing one of our residential surveyors they will work with you from start to finish providing a detailed report on your proposed new purchase and spend time with you afterwards to discuss the reports contents.

Our team of RICS Chartered surveyors have over 10+ years of experience working with Landlords and Tenants in the commercial sector. Our team maybe small but our knowledge is big. We believe that by being a small team we are able to offer a more personal experience to our clients, where they are dealing with the same contact from the start. 

Our Director, James, has over 10+ years working in the construction industry. He is a building surveying graduate from Wolverhampton University and is an RICS chartered surveyor.

Providing excellent 1-2-1 advice on how to protect tenants when moving in and out of commercial premises, defect analysis, budget planning and the fitting out and refurbishment of units. He has vast experience working with retail and fast food franchises, planning and project managing new store builds, and their fit outs.

James is a member of the Pyramus and Thisbe Society, showing his competence when dealing with party wall matters.

During James career he has been shortlisted for the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year award and the G4C Mentor of the Year award.
